Aerators – devices for water aeration and airing in fish breeding ponds. They are also used for removing and cleaning fish breeding water in fish farms in order to increase production. Aerators are used for water airing during summer when there is no sufficient amount of oxygen in water which can leads to diseased fish and, in extreme cases, asphyxia. Aerators are used in winter for water airing in carp family fish warehouse.
These devices are also used to eliminate no-air sections in deeper ponds.
These devices have the following technical features:
- a good output comparing to the used electrical power,
- possibility of placing it anywhere in a pond,
- they force the water motion and also cause well distribution of aired water,
- Very gentle method of operation and a simple construction allow easy service under all kinds of circumstances using typical tools and easily accessible spare parts.
