Aerators
Aerators by SDK are devices designed for ventilating, aerating, oxygenating and mixing water in fish ponds and tanks used in fish farms. Their purpose is to improve oxygen conditions, force water movement and reduce the risk of anaerobic zones.
In fish farming, a stable oxygen level in water directly affects fish safety, fish condition and the possibility of intensive production. Aerators are used especially during summer, when high temperature reduces the amount of dissolved oxygen in water, and in winter, when water aeration is required in carp storage ponds.
Aerators for fish ponds
SDK aerators are also used for moving and cleaning fish farming water. Forced water movement helps distribute oxygenated water inside the pond, improves circulation and supports more favourable conditions throughout the entire water volume.
These devices are especially useful when there is an increased risk of oxygen deficiency. This may occur during hot weather, sudden weather changes, intensive feeding, high fish biomass in the pond or weak natural water exchange. An aerator helps quickly increase water movement and improve contact between water and air.
