Basins for initial and main breeding of fish are made of polyester-glass fibre laminate, stainless steel or aluminium, pipes and PVC installation, galvanised steel, fire-proof and impregnated wood. The shape of the basins is designed in such a way so that to maximally use the space meant for fish breeding, and, simultaneously, not to produce unproductive places while breeding period – at small water flow. All the basins are self-cleaning, even at small, rotating water flow. Dead fish and bigger impurities staying on the drain grate, (which centrally situated in the basin or by one of the wall at the level of water surface with usage of outflow boxes) are easy to be removed. The working side, which is the internal one, is smooth and shiny, which allows very easy keeping cleanness. All the basins have centrally sloping bottoms, which allows easy water disposal. The draining grate may be made of stainless steel or aluminium sheet, and the diameter and shape of the opening holes will be manufactured according to the buyer’s requirements. Draining pipes from the basins are made of PVC pipes of diameters from 50 to 250mm depending on the needs, i.e. the quantity and frequency of exchanged water in a certain period of time. In the basins may be one or two out of three water disposal, water surface regulation and water exchange systems:
- telescopic system,
- disposal box, internal or external,
- lifting pipe.
All methods may be installed in breeding systems with closed and open water flow. The basins are equipped in emergency water disposal valve, which is situated under the upper edge. The edges of all our basins are rounded and bent downwards, which makes them ergonomic and greatly strengthens the construction. The base is made of legs, which may be made of galvanised steel, wood or laminate. The height of the legs is made according to the buyer’s request. The basins can be put one into another which makes them easy for transport and storing when not used.
